2017 IRONMAN WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP RACE REPORT KAILUA-KONA, HAWAII OCTOBER 14, 2017 The following is my race report for the Ironman World Championship race held on the Big Island (Hawaii). It is a long race report as I start back when I qualified in late September of 2016 and carry forward to the actual race. I hope it’s not too boring and that the reader can take away some tidbit of information that either helps them prepare for their next race or simply enjoy reading what the experience was like.
